Drifting East music is inspired by the folk and traditional melodies of Afghanistan. With western harmonies and a fusion of unlikely instruments, our sound is born.

I am now working with MusAid Organization. MusAid is a 501(c)3 non-profit, registered in both the USA and Canada, that provides musical institutions in under-resourced parts of the world with volunteer music teachers and donated instruments and materials.

American Voices is a nonprofit organization that has been conducting cross-cultural engagement with audiences in over 110 nations worldwide since 1993. Founded with a focus on the recently independent nations of Central and Eastern Europe, American Voices has expanded its mission towards supporting youth in nations emerging from conflict or isolation.

This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to work with students from Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Syria and Kurdistan who participated in the Yes Academy organized by American Voices. Check out American Voice website to know more about what they do!
